Time-tested Water Tank Gauges:
Since 1985, more than 70,000 Yaktek gauges continue to indicate water level on all types of tanks throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Pacific Islands, USA, Central America, Middle East, and South Africa.
Highly Visible:
The bright aluminum indicator with its red band can be seen from hundreds of feet away. According to customers in Australia’s remote outback, the indicator can be seen from a plane or helicopter while doing their regular observations of cattle, fences, windmills and water troughs. Even better is the night time visibility thanks to the highly reflective red band.
True Reading:
The indicator matches the exact water level inside. What you see is what you have. Graduations can be marked on the guide tube or tank for accurate measurement.
Simplicity:
No gimmicks, no batteries, just a simple float/weight/pulley system.
Versatility:
Liquidator 2 will fit concrete, fiberglass, plastic, timber, corrugated steel, steel panels, round, oval, or square tanks.
Easy to Install:
All necessary items (template, instructions and hardware) are provided to make it easy for the handyman to mount the Liquidator on the tank roof.
Reliability:
Built with quality materials and large, free-running pulleys, the Levetator water level gauge provides reliable service year in, year out.
How it Works:
The weighted float and indicator are connected to the counterweight by separate cords, each cord running over a pair of pulleys. When the float is half-immersed everything is balanced.
Rising liquid level lifts the float up, the counterweight moves down, and the indicator keeps pace with the float.
Falling liquid levels causes the weighted float to pull the counterweight up, and again, the indicator keeps pace with the float.
At all times the indicator matches the liquid level exactly.

Separate Pulley Housings:
Liquidator 2 is supplied as a compact assembly, ready to mount on the tank roof close to the edge. But the pulley housings can easily be separated and joined by a horizontal length of pipe. This allows the float to be located well away from the edge, or high up on the apex of the tank roof, if desired.
Adaptable to Roof Shapes:
Steep roofs up to 45° can easily be accommodated, thanks to the pivoted pulley housing. And the base of the pulley housing can be readily shaped to match roofs with ribs or bulges that are common to modern plastic tanks.
Guide Pipe:
As the name implies, Liquidator 2 is designed to suit 2” PVC round pipe (not provided in package), readily available from hardware stores and plumbing supplies in either plastic or thin wall metal. Square tubes too, either 2” square thin wall galvanized or aluminum, or the slightly smaller 50 mm square tube. The pipe should be cut to match the height of your tank.
Insect Proof:
All moving parts are fully enclosed and the only point of entry is where the indicator cord emerges. But, tucked up underneath the pulley housing, the cord passes through a close fitting floating grommet, making it nearly impossible for insects to enter.
Weatherproof:
Liquidator 2 is dust and weatherproof. To insure a weatherproof installation, silicone rubber should be used at the time of installation to eliminate any gaps so that the gauge is fully sealed against the elements - rain, hail, or snow.
