RainFlo Pressure Tank Features:
RainFlo pressure tanks offer an ideal, cost effective solution for creating a buffer capacity of pressurized water. A typical rainwater harvesting pump system is comprised solely of a submersible pump and controller. As soon as there is a demand for water the controller will turn the pump on. In instances where there are frequent, short bursts of demand it can cause the pump to cycle on and off quite often. These frequent and repeated starts places stress on both the starting and running capacitor which reduces the life of these components. Additionally, electrical and mechanical stress is placed on the pump motor as it is brought from a standstill to maximum speed in a matter of seconds.

Our pressure tanks hold water in a bladder under pressure by a pre-charged air supply that is trapped between the metal tank and the bladder. This reservoir of pressurized, on demand water will fill the need of minor water demands without the pump having to turn on.
