The Leaf Beater is ideal for use with cisterns ranging from 40 - 500 gallons ...with an integrated flow directional gutter outlet which directs the flow of water from the gutters onto an adjustable elliptical primary screen of 7/32" aperture. This screen is virtually vertical enabling the action of the water to wash the screen and minimize maintenance.
Manufactured with a polypropylene housing, teflon seats and EPDM O-rings, these high quality valves make system installation and maintenance a breeze with the integral pipe union feature.
Used in installations where multiple downspouts are connected together to a single pipe into the vortex filter. The medium capacity vortex rainwater filter can filter up to a 5,500 square foot roof area for site irrigation, toilet and urinal flushing, janitorial use, laundries, fire protection, evaporative cooling tower make-up, process water or other non-potable uses.
