Sometimes difficult to find (especially by the foot) at a local plumbing supply store. We provide this pipe at approximately our cost as a convenience.
The rule of thumb is to divert about 10 gallons of the first rainfall for every 1,000 square feet of roof area footprint. Each foot of pipe stores 6 gallons of first flush water. A 3-foot section diverts the appropriate amount for about 1,800 square feet of roof.
Provided in 3 and 4-foot lengths. If longer sections are required, we can provide a 12" coupler at no charge (shipping not included). We do not ship longer sections as the shipping costs get into what is called "dimensional weight" which gets very expensive.
