The 300-Level is open to anyone with an interest in the subject matter.
Attainment of Accredited Professional (AP) status will be required prior
to consideration for Certified Professional (CP) status. Accredited
Professionals are encouraged to attend regardless of their intent to
pursue CP status. The Level 300 courses provide training on topics
including, but not limited to piping and design standards; friction
calculations; commercial installation planning and construction; pumps
and controls; sanitation; water issues and ecology and practical
application in constructing a rainwater catchment system.
300-Level programs may be in several forms - ARCSA-provided classroom
presentations or webinars, or also ARCSA-endorsed presentations from
other professional presentations deemed appropriate for our curriculum.
One of the sources of 300-Level hours are instructional webinars available on the ARCSA website at the ARCSA Store.
To be clear, any workshop may be attended by anyone without prerequisites.
One of the requirements for designation as an ARCSA Certified
Professional is attendance at an ARCSA-approved Design and Construction
(DCW) workshop. These workshops will deliver exposure to many of the
practical skills and hands-on experience needed to complement the
classroom instruction and examination that are also required for
ultimate designation as an ARCSA Certified Professional. If you've
attended the week-long Junction, Texas workshop held in August, 2010,
you have satisfied the DCW requirements. Attendance at a two-day DCW
course is also worth six hours toward the 48-hour requirement to become a
Certified Professional. To be clear, any workshop may be attended by
anyone without prerequisites.
